AI Visibility Tools That Fix Your Visibility, Not Only Measure It

A dashboard tells you that AI ignores you. It does not fix it. Here are the tools that close the loop, and the ones that hand you a to-do list.

TL;DR

There are about thirty AI visibility tools and almost all of them do the same

thing: they measure. You learn that ChatGPT recommends four competitors and not

you, and then you are on your own. A much smaller group actually does the work.

This list ranks tools by whether they execute, and only then by how well they

measure. Renown is first because Renown Autopilot ships the changes and then

re-measures to prove whether the answer moved.

Why this list exists

The category has a known hole in it, and the people who cover it say so out

loud. The standing complaint about generative engine optimization software is

that the insights are not attached to anything: you get a score, a competitor

list, and a pile of recommendations nobody has time to implement.

That is not a small gap. Measurement is cheap now. Nine tools will tell you your

share of voice for under $100 a month. What almost nobody sells is the part

where somebody writes the page, fixes the schema, answers the reviews, updates

the profile, and then checks whether the machine changed its mind.

Monitoring without action is a dashboard. Action without measurement is an

agency. The tools below are ranked on how much of that loop they close.

How this list is ranked

One criterion: how much of the work does the tool do after it finds the

problem? Tools that only report rank lower here, no matter how good the

reporting is. That is a deliberate bias and it is the entire point of the list.

Renown makes one of the tools on this list. We have put ourselves first because

on this specific criterion we place first, and we have said plainly below what

each of the others does better. If you want a list ranked on price, we keep a

cost-effectiveness ranking

too, and Renown is not the cheapest sticker price on the market.

Prices checked August 2026. This category changes pricing constantly, so verify

before you buy.

The ranking

1. Renown

Does the work: yes, end to end. Renown measures how AI answers your

category, diagnoses why, and on Renown Autopilot does the fixing itself, then

verifies whether bookings and answers moved. Autopilot runs the Google Business

Profile, answers reviews, publishes posts, ships landing pages, and will take

over the website. Every action is approved by you before it runs and arrives as

a card stating what it noticed, why it matters, what it proposes, the expected

impact labelled as an estimate, the cost, the risk, and its confidence.

Monitoring starts at $89 a month. There is a one-time

AI Presence Audit at $199 with nothing recurring. Autopilot is scoped

and quoted per business, because a single restaurant and a forty-client agency

roster are not the same job.

Where others beat it: Profound has SOC 2 and Renown does not claim any

third-party certification.

2. geocentric.ai geoManager

Does the work: yes, as a service. geoManager is positioned as a GEO team

that executes a plan across platforms, paired with a planner product that builds

a six-month roadmap. Closest thing on this list to Renown Autopilot in intent.

Weigh it as you would an agency retainer rather than software.

3. Wix AI Visibility Overview

Does the work: partially, if you are on Wix. Wix added AI visibility

tracking with generative engine optimization support, and because Wix owns the

site it can act on what it finds. That is a real advantage and a real limit: it

ends at the edge of your Wix site, and most of what decides an AI answer sits on

third-party sources you do not own.

4. Scrunch AI

Does the work: guidance, not execution. Scrunch pairs multi-model monitoring

with auditing and optimization guidance, and thinks carefully about how AI

agents read a site. Strong analysis. You or your agency still implement it.

5. Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit

Does the work: no, but the fixes live nearby. Semrush shows how AI portrays

your brand against competitors inside a suite you may already own, and the

content tooling to act sits in the same account. Convenient if you are already

standardised on Semrush. The execution is still a person on your team.

6. Writesonic and Frase

Does the work: the content half. Both connect AI visibility signals to

content production, which is the single biggest lever for most brands. Neither

touches the profile, review, schema or off-site work that decides local and

comparison answers.

7. Profound, Peec AI, Otterly.AI

Does the work: no. These are measurement products and good ones. Profound

has the enterprise depth and the SOC 2 certification. Peec AI is EU-hosted with

a clean interface. Otterly.AI is the cheapest serious entry at $29 a month. Pick

one of these if you have a team ready to act on what it tells you, because that

is the assumption all three are built on.

How to choose

Ask one question of any vendor demo: after this dashboard shows me the problem,

who fixes it? If the answer is your team, you are buying measurement and you

should price it against the cheapest tool that covers your models, which is

usually Otterly.AI. If the honest answer is that nobody fixes it, that is how

tools become shelfware.

If you do not have the team, do not buy a dashboard and hope. Buy execution, or

buy the audit and hand it to an agency. A one-time audit

costs less than three months of a tool you will not act on.

Frequently asked questions

Do any AI visibility tools actually make the changes for you?

A few. Renown Autopilot executes and then verifies, and geocentric.ai runs a

managed service. Wix can act inside a Wix site. The rest of the category is

measurement and recommendations, with implementation left to you.

Is monitoring alone worth paying for?

Yes, if somebody is going to act on it. Monitoring tells you which questions you

lose, which competitors take them, and which sources the model read. That is

genuinely useful input. It becomes waste the moment nobody has time to use it.

What does execution actually mean here?

Publishing and updating the pages models read, fixing structured data and

crawler access, keeping the Google Business Profile and reviews current,

building presence on the third-party sources your category's answers cite, then

re-measuring to see whether the answer changed.

How do I know the work moved anything?

Insist on before-and-after measurement on the same questions. Any vendor doing

execution should re-run the same prompt set after the change and show you the

difference. If they only show you activity, you are buying effort, not outcomes.
